Count Down to Christmas Day 4!

WHAT WAS I THINKING???  NO NAP!  REALLY?!?
Thats my most favorite time of day!
I get my cleaning done, maybe a little laundry, ok serioiusly I don't do those things but what I really do is eat junk food, drink a pop, and mess on the computer!  But I guess for one day I can give those things up and do a craft with the girls (the little boys needed a nap!!) and everything else can wait!

During their no nap day the girls got to
-watch a short Christmas Movie
-make a winter frame!
-and then they wanted to color so they colored!

-- and then naptime was over :(  I will enjoy my quiet time tomorrow I guess --

The winter frames turned out SUPER CUTE!!

What you need:
- i used the empty cereal boxes to cut a picture frame
-gray paint (use whatever color you are feeling, I was feeling gray!)
-stuff to decorate the frame
~ we used stars, snowflakes, more stars, holly leafs, and shimmery circles ~
(very winter like)
After the frame was painted the girls glued on all the good stuff!
They sat so quietly and worked so well!

Here are some pics of the girls hard at work!!

And the FINISHED products!

Knowing the little boys would nap and the older boys would go home after lunch we also did a project in the morning.

to make a holly wreath you will need
-a paper plate with the center cut out
-green paint
-red dots (for berries)
~ we used pom poms and then these shimmery dots i got at hobby lobby (my FAVORITE store)

Here is our Holly Wreath work in progress:
I gave the little guys paint brushes today!  they pretty much painted everything BUT the paper plate! :)

Here is our finsihed product!

What do you do to keep your kiddos quiet and entertained during quiet time!
