Another day closer to Christmas and the kids are soooo excited! We got to take off another link of our advent calendar! The kids just jump with delight as we countdown and yell "14 DAYCARE DAYS LEFT TILL CHRISTMAS!!!!"

Today we made salt dough oranments! This is super easy but they take forever to bake! So I suggest doing it a day or 2 before you plan on painting them!
RECIPIE:
2 CUPS FLOUR
1 CUP SALT
1 CUP WARM WATER
~mix flour and salt and add the warm water~
mis with hands until you get a playdough feel
Roll out and use cookie cutters to get your shapes!
We used Christmas Cookies Cutters (obviously)
bake at 250 for at least 2 hours and 30mins
it may take more or less time depending on how thick your ornaments are. just make sure they are nice an hard before you take them out of the oven!

They are a work in progress so more to come on the ornaments when they are offically finished and ready to be wrapped for their parents/grandparents!!
